Fictacular New Year Giveaway!  

Although I really don’t care for all the commercialism of the season, I do think it’s good to give back. That’s why this season, I have decided to give you the:

Fictastic New Year Giveaway!  

Here’s how it works:

The First 9 people to comment to this post with the phrase “That’s Fictastic!” somewhere in their post by February 28, 2009 will get a ramble (fic with101-500 words) in the pairing of their choice. (selected from the list below) written by me.

 Rules and whatnot:

  • When posting, please include the pairing you want and the rating desired. (I tend to write PG-13 – R or T-M works but will try other ratings if desired)
  • Be prepared to give me ideas if I get stuck
  • One fic per person.
  • All fics will be in English (Sorry, I don't speak klingon or Ebonics...)
  • I reserve the right to deny any pairing request, even if it is on the list.
  • I retain ownership of all works. No Stealing.
  • Fics will be posted on LJ, DeviantArt, and elsewhere if I so choose.
  • Rules are subject to change

Pairings List (stronger pairings are in bold)

  • Stronger pairings will probably result in better quality work in terms of characterization
  • There is a possibility that I may have left some out.
  • If it is not on the list, you may ask for it but no guarantees
  • I do not write anime pairings. (because I don’t watch it or read manga)
  • I would prefer not to do crossovers but ask if you want to.
  • If you want a fic but you don’t care for any of the Fan-fic pairings, give me an idea of what you are looking for and I will try to work something out using my original characters.

I'm glad you picked House/Wilson over Sam/Frodo. I watch House all the time but I havent seen LOTR in ages. The LOTR fandom is definately not one of my strong ones. I might take them off the list?

I said it. I pick Darren Hayes and Daniel Jones from Savage Garden, but I don't quite get why and what you do with the "pairing."

I'll say it again for good measure, that's fictastic!

Could you do a Dimitri and Anastasia fic? I prefer the rating to be pg-13 or lower, mostly lower. Please, no sex scenes. I respect those who read them, but I prefer not to. I don't mind references to it, or kissing, but I don't like graphic detail once it starts going.

No, but thank you for the offer. I don't have much use for icons, but I love Anastasia fanfiction. I hope you get around to an Anya and Dimitri story in the future. I'll check your tags ever so often if you consider it eventually. If you do you could post an entry in the lj community to_the_past for any other Anastasia fans to know you've written one. That would probably be where I'd check first.
